The Damn Show DVD
Review |
 Why are these dudes not famous? This is a question
I was continually asking myself while watching The Damn Show's hilarious
2 DVD set (Vol 1 & 2).
They
have managed to assemble an impressive collection of hilarious
skits and parodies. They also feature two bums, Jimmy Gibberish
and Cherokee who make Howard Stern's Wack Pack look like nuclear
physicists. The
Damn Show! cast member 'Waco' really brings out the best
out of these bums during his in depth interviews. Although at
one point, they needed to use subtitles for Jimmy; "I saw a
Terry on a well, I saw a I say a peanut butter rooter, there
is it, you have your  peaches too." And at a time where patriotism
has dipped, Jimmy gives us a thundering rendition of our National
Anthem which is enough to make any man go out and harm an Arab
randomly. Cherokee, who is a 60 year old self proclaimed male
prostitute, might be a bum, but he isn't stupid. He wouldn't
put on a dress for anything less than 100 dollars. Oh yeah,
and he knows Tae Kwan Do.

| My
absolute favorite skit is a parody of the dating show Blind Date.
They actually got a authentic black crack whore to take part in the
date. The dude, who is your all American college boy, picks her up
at her crack house. As they are driving away, she gets mad because
she thought he was going to give her money and/or suck his dick. She
then explains that she doesn't want to go out to eat, she wants to
smoke (crack). The date continues to center around the fact that
this whore needs crack, so right before they make it to the
restaurant, they smoke crack together in an alley (they really do
smoke it). They finally sit down at the restaurant and the whore
orders a "40". The dude is so wasted on the crack; all he wants is
more menus to play with. Keep in mind that this is a REAL crack
whore, right down to her genuine pit stains. This is some funny shit
and is truly unbelievable.
Other
funny ass highlights:
- "Yucko goes to Sundance & in New York: Everyone's
favorite convicted sex offender/clown interviews stupid bitches
and foreigners. Yucko is my hero.
- Queers: A parody of 'Cheers'
- The
Gooks Of Hazzard: Probably one of the funniest things I have ever
seen. They make degrading Asians fun again.
- "
Clayporn: This shit made me laugh and horny at the same
time.
- "
The Osbornes: The ABSOLUTE BEST Osbornes parody of all
time.
My
advice to you would be to skip the Jackass movie this Saturday
night, turn SNL off and slide in The Damn Show DVDs. Hell, get Beet Uncensored and
make it a triple feature. At any rate, get this shit before they get
their own show on MTV, Comedy Central, and before Yucko gets shot or
thrown back in jail. |
